The 2009-2010 School Year is off to a

fantastic start!

Dear Sheridan Families,

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 4 is an Early Release Day- school day ends 2 hours early and dismissal will follow the pattern of the regular school day, but begin at 1:45 PM.

Conference Preference forms were handed out last week.  Conferences will be scheduled on Wednesday 11/4.  If you did not turn in a preference sheet you will be given an open time slot that is available.

Do you have children that need glasses?  If you don’t have insurance or your insurance coverage does not include corrective lenses, the school nurse may be able to help.  Please contact Carol Grady, at 651-293-8745.

St. Paul Public Schools are committed to removing absenteeism as a barrier to students’ achievement, promotion, graduation, self-esteem, and employment potential.  Therefore, each school will follow school district and Ramsey County guidelines for students out of compliance with school district attendance procedures.

Sheridan School will follow the procedures and the identified interventions listed below:

 after 3, 5, 7 and 10 unexcused absences:
