Sheridan Elementary School offers English Language Learner (ELL) services. Students initially qualify for ELL if they indicate that a language other than English is spoken in the home on the Home Language Questionnaire (HLQ). Approximately one third of Sheridan’s students make use of our ELL services.

teachers. Britta Wicklund is Sheridan's primary level instructor. She works with students in kindergarten, first and second grades. Sandy Lucas supports students in grades three through six.
Two full-time educational assistants lend their expertise to our school: Plaj Chong Kong is fluent in Hmong, Louella Francisco is fluent in Spanish. Sheridan is very fortunate to have both EAs and the many talents they bring to the students!
